How close do my tracks need to be musically to what is being asked for?

In all of our job postings, we try to get as many specifics as we can and always provide whatever the client can specify in the job listings. That being said, some clients will "know it when they hear it" and then provide more general information. In these cases, clients typically do 1 of 3 things:

1. Consider submissions as a demo and then commission the composer to write a specific piece, if the demo is not "close" enough to what the client decides they want, or

2. License the submission and have their music editor edit the submission to fit the picture, or

3. License the submission and then edit the picture to work with the music.
